Like every year, this year too, on
the 16th of Dhul-Qa'dah, the Annual Urs of Spritual Emperor of Deccan, Bandgi Makhdoom, Hazrat Khawaja
Banda Nawaz Gesu Daraz (may Allah have mercy on him) was celebrated. The
difference was that every year thousands of devotees would come to his holy
court and offer their gratitude, but this time no one was allowed except the family
of Banda Nawaz and servants of Dargah because of the contagious Corona virus.
But other devotees of Banda Nawaz paid homage and gratitude to him in their own
homes. In addition, a large number of people expressed their love through their
social media accounts. We have heard many times that Bandgi Makhdoom is one of
the founders of Urdu language and his teachings are preserved in more than 100
books. Apart from many virtues, this is his own distinction. Wasn't it the duty
of devotees of Banda Nawaz that along with celebrating Urs, we should follow
these teachings of our master and present them to the world? It is a pity that
the majority of the youth of the Ummah today are not only familiar with these
books but also do not know the names of 5-10 of these books, even if you
understand and follow the teachings and mysteries contained in them it will be a
true proof your love and by presenting these precious teachings to the world.
This year, the 616th Urs-e-Pak and
the date of his death, 16 Dhul-Qa'dah, 16 things from his treasury are presented
below. We hope readers will read and try to adopt and spread around the world:
1. There is a radiance and light in
the eternal ablution
2. Food that seekers of truth eat
and drink water, say Bismillah at least once every sip and every snack, some
even recite Surah Al-Fatihah in full at every bite
3. It is important for a Sufi who is asleep to
be aware of his existence
4. The place where the Shaikh sit
should also be respected and should not be sat on that place
5. Zikr-e-Khafi (Secret remembrance
of Almighty) is what is done from the heart
6. The good end and is the most
important of all campaigns and the most beloved of all
7. When the mirror of the heart is
cleansed from the rust of nature and the darkness of humanity, then it becomes
capable of accepting the unseen.
8. Wisdom is a precious thing for
men, but love is the thing that conquers the great forts and the high peaks of
the mountains. Wisdom says don't be in danger but love says don't care
9. The wealth and riches of the
world are like a flash of lightning and a moving shadow of a cloud. Lightning
sometimes flashes, sometimes sinks, sometimes comes, sometimes goes. What to do
with such a superstitious thing. What to sow in saline soil. There is no hope
of good or success in what is imprinted on the water!
10. The thing that should be sought
the most and the purpose which is the most beloved and important thing is
"knowledge of God". He who does not know himself does not know God
and falls into the cave of destruction
11. Prayer(Salath) is an act of
worship and recitation of the Qur'an is mustahab(beloved). But whoever performs
in impurity without ablution & bathing or recites the Qur'an deserves
punishment.
12. Self-purification is achieved by
eating less, sleeping less, talking less and meeting less
13. It is obligatory on
every Muslim man and woman to seek knowledge. If there is no action with
knowledge, then that knowledge is sterile (barren) and if there is no knowledge
with action, then that knowledge will be straight (sick).
14. From where to where the grace
and honor of the following of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) reach the ummah? From the garden of the people of Chisht who ate the
fruit, they ate from following.
15. Such an age has passed. What did
you get from those who continued to serve the self? Everything is possible and
close to you today, it will not happen tomorrow
16. Consider the few breaths of age
that are left as enogh booty and remove the heart from the unjust that is mortal
and reduce the meeting with meeting people.
